Scott Carbonara

Michael Aaron Ulmer
Michael Aaron Ulmer is a self-portrait photographer, freelance video creator, and ultra marathon runner with a daily growing 160,000+ lnstagram following. He has had viral videos and features on Buzzfeed, Unilad, and other global media outlets. His conceptual art’s raw honest vulnerability holds a mirror up to the viewer and forces them to dive into the depths of the human condition.
Michael has been a storyteller his whole life. He honed his creative conceptual abilities while receiving a BA in Theatre at Doane University. After transitioning to film he moved from being in front of the camera to behind. As an award winning director and freelance video creator for global brands like National Geographic, WD-4D, Green Giant and more, he furthered his technical and storytelling skills. But it was when he made the move to conceptual photography where he learned he could tell an entire story in a single frame. It is at this moment that the culmination of all his pursuits came together to start creating magic.

Nonprofit board members need strong skills and a thorough understanding of their role to serve effectively. The purpose of the Board Masters workshop is to provide guidance & skills-building opportunities for people who want to be better members of nonprofit boards of directors. Board Masters was created for board members, nonprofit board veterans and those new to board service. We cover the most important aspects of board governance in this interactive, intensive program. At the end of this training, you will be able to describe how effective boards function, tackle the essential tasks of nonprofit board members, and create a plan of action to address opportunities to improve.
