Executive Series: Creating an Intentional Workplace Culture Through Transformational Leadership and Courageous Conversations
Culture isn’t a poster on the wall — it’s created in everyday moments, especially the hard conversations leaders tend to avoid. This workshop is designed for managers who want to lead with intention, not autopilot. We’ll break down what workplace culture really is, how leadership behavior shapes it (for better or worse), and how to get clear on the values that guide your decisions when things get uncomfortable. You’ll learn practical, usable tools for navigating tough conversations without escalating them or shutting them down — from handling tension and disagreement, to recognizing bias, listening beyond the words, and saying what needs to be said in a way people can actually hear. Expect real examples, honest discussion, and techniques you can use the very next day to build trust, reduce friction, and lead conversations that move work – and people – forward.
Learning Objectives:
1. Discuss the link between transformational leadership and workplace culture
2. Identify values that underpin leadership approaches
3. Discover communication tips to help build trust when having difficult conversations
4. Identify monthly actions to take to strengthen relationships in the workplace
