Hall County Leadership Unlimited is searching for a passionate, community-minded leader to serve as its next Executive Director. Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually

Reports To: Board of Directors

THE OPPORTUNITY

About the Role

The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of Hall County Leadership Unlimited, responsible for the overall management, financial sustainability, public image, and strategic direction of the organization. You’ll work hand-in-hand with a dedicated Board of Directors, a small staff team, and a wide network of community partners to ensure our programs thrive and our mission endures.

This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role that requires equal parts strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll be the face of the organization in the community while also managing day-to-day operations, fundraising, and team development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Key Responsibilities

ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP

  • Provide vision and strategic leadership across all programs, services, and operations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, grant requirements, and organizational standards
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

COMMUNITY & BOARD RELATIONS

  • Serve as the primary public spokesperson and community ambassador for the organization
  • Build and maintain relationships with businesses, nonprofits, government entities, donors, and media
  • Support and advise the Board on governance, strategy, and organizational development
  • Keep Board members informed and engaged on key issues and opportunities

PROGRAMS & PEOPLE

  • Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of all leadership programs
  • Supervise and develop 2 direct reports; maintain a positive, professional team culture
  • Ensure safe, welcoming environments for all participants, volunteers, and stakeholders

FUNDRAISING & FINANCE

  • Lead fundraising efforts including grants, donor relations, and corporate partnerships
  • Oversee annual budget development and daily fiscal operations
  • Ensure sound financial practices and compliance with all reporting requirements

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings a genuine commitment to community and a proven track record in leadership. The strongest candidates will offer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent leadership experience
  • 5+ years of experience in nonprofit management, program administration, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, community relations, and board partnership
  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and in public settings
  • Experience with fiscal oversight, personnel management, and organizational planning
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Canva (preferred)
  • Alumni status of a Leadership Unlimited program is a welcome bonus
